The objective of this project is to increase the health literacy of youth through educational strategies based on new information and communication technologies. This training of the young is also a bet on their capacity to educate the families and on the disseminator potential of their social networks.
MOOCs
A massive open online course (MOOC) is an online course that has open access and interactive participation by means of the Web. MOOCs structure provides participants with learning objectives, educational materials, and evaluation tools. Apart from this, MOOCs also offer interactive user forums, which are extremely useful in building a community for students, and educators. Generally, MOOCs do not charge tuition fees or provide academic credit.

Widely available today, online health information is often misleading, non-scientific-based and foster dangerous beliefs that can be harmful for the public. MOOC courses are reliable alternatives to promote adequate and comprehensive health knowledge in society.
